Rowe-ing the London Marathon

We are delighted and proud to announce that our very own Tim Rowe, whom our customers will know from our Software Support Team, has been selected to run this year’s London Marathon.

Tim has chosen to run the Marathon for a local Chesterfield hospice, so we sat down with Tim to capture his thoughts as he ramps up his training.

Why are you running?

Good Question, I must be mad. Really it’s because Ashgate Hospice have provided care for members of my own family at the end of their lives as well as for many of my friends’ families.

Who are you running for?

Ashgate Hospice Care. They provide Respite and End of Life care in Chesterfield and the surrounding area. They also provide tremendous support for the patient’s families. They are an entirely charitable organisation that try to help as many families as they can

Where can people support you?

Anybody who chooses to support me can do so here via Virgin Money Giving. Any support I receive is greatly appreciated and will help keep me motivated through the cold weather training.

We plan to keep you updated via social media of Tim’s progress, and will do a final report upon his marathon completion.
