Merlin helps Cherwell group achieve year end stock taking, saving two full business days …

Some great feedback here from Jeremy Hodge, Managing Director of Cherwell Group, distributors of Janitorial, Paper Disposables and Packaging Supplies and one of our latest members of the Nationwide Hygiene Supplies Group. Having only been live on Merlin since June this year, the entire Cherwell staff can’t speak highly enough of Merlin.

During a project review meeting with Jeremy Hodge yesterday, Jeremy gave a number of examples of where Merlin was working well across the company. One such comment was that the year end processing procedures proved to be extremely simple and took no time to complete, compared with their previous Sage Line 500 system. The simplicity of the stock-take routine enabled the company to complete the annual task taking two days less time than they were used to on their old system.

Jeremy commented “…this normally tied us up over a whole weekend – this year, with Merlin in place, I actually got to watch the football!”Clearly, Jeremy didn’t need to contend with large overtime claims from the staff for helping with the stock-take over the weekend either!
